Coat for China

A coat made to wear on the 1995 Womens International League For Peace and Freedom Peace Train from Helsinki to Beijing to the 4th UN Womens Conference. I knew we would get bad publicity or no publicity so I decided it was necessary to make a banner with the participants from 42 countries around the world. The coat was so people could find me during the three weeks we had to make the banner on the train.I also took some banners with me which we used in the nine city stopovers. I gave a seminar at the Conference on Our Message and the Media using Greenham as an example.

As a man when officials unasked use my Christan name
They are putting me down, a corporate power game.
